Pharmacist

Role Overview: Acts as a pharmacist at a retail pharmacy, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe medication services. Responsible for interpreting prescriptions, evaluating drug interactions, and providing counseling to physicians, patients, and customers. Manages pharmacy operations, supervises staff, and delegates tasks to pharmacy technicians. Coordinates medication dispensing, reviews patient profiles, and ensures compliance with regulations. Prepares specialized medications such as compounded, IV, and chemotherapeutic drugs using aseptic techniques. Assists in inventory management and suggests operational improvements. Collaborates with healthcare professionals on drug therapy and formulary issues, and assumes responsibility for pharmacy functions as directed. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Core Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, drug interactions, and medication management. Excellent communication, supervision, and coordination skills. Ability to process prescriptions accurately and ensure patient safety.
