City/State: Chesapeake, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse. The Direct Care Registered Nurse - Home Health and Hospice Provides high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end-of-life care. Anticipated Status/Shift Full Time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday, Day Shift (8AM-5PM) Position Location Sentara Hospice Services - Chesapeake, VA Education Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required) Certification/Licensure Valid RN License in state of practice (VA) (Required) BLS (Required within 90 days of hire) Experience 1 year of nursing experience (Required) Previous Home Care/Hospice experience (Strongly Preferred) Keywords registered nurse, hospice, RN, talroo-nursing, skilled care, direct patient care, home care, assessments, collaboration, coordination, comprehensive care Compensation We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $87,214.40 - $126,900.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
