Transportation Engineer

Overview Location: North NJ (Hybrid options available) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Civil / Transportation Engineering A well-established engineering consulting firm in North New Jersey is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to join its growing transportation team. Responsibilities Design roadway and highway projects including alignments, profiles, grading, and drainage Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates Perform traffic and safety analyses to support design decisions Coordinate with project managers, municipalities, and state agencies Ensure compliance with local, county, and state standards Support permitting and utility coordination efforts Assist with construction support services as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field 3+ years of transportation or roadway design experience EIT required; PE preferred (or on track) Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with roadway design standards and DOT guidelines Strong communication and teamwork skills What’s Offered Competitive salary and performance bonuses 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth and professional development support Flexible/hybrid work options To apply, submit resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Joseph P.
