Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school-based setting
• In-depth knowledge of best practices in language, articulation, and fluency therapy for diverse student populations
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Comfortable working onsite; openness to future teletherapy (Voco) possible

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech therapy and language intervention services to students, based on IEP goals and evaluations
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote the best outcomes for each child
• Maintain accurate case documentation and progress tracking, adhering to state and school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student learning plans
• Adapt therapy approaches to suit individual student needs and diverse learning styles
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that empowers students to achieve communication milestones
