Robotic Welder

Robot Weld Operator/TechnicianIMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Robot Weld Operator/Technician for a growing manufacturing operation in Tea, SD. This position combines hands-on welding and fabrication experience with the operation of robotic welding equipment. Responsibilities include setting up and operating robotic welding equipment, fitting, tacking, and preparing steel components for welding, monitoring robotic welding processes and making necessary adjustments, inspecting completed welds for quality and accuracy, grinding, cleaning, and repairing welds as needed, troubleshooting welding equipment and production issues, reading and following blueprints, drawings, and work instructions, maintaining equipment and a clean, organized work area, and following all safety and quality procedures. Qualifications include 3–5 years of welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred, robotic welding experience preferred, strong welding and fabrication knowledge, ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools, strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, detail-oriented with a focus on weld quality, and comfortable working independently and as part of a production team.
