Job Summary:
Pre Op Registered Nurse position located in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting adult day surgery units, with a focus on preoperative care, post-anesthesia recovery, and pre-admission testing. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Dallas, Texas
• Address: 7777 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX 75230
• Unit: Adult Day Surgery, 22 beds, staffed by 41 team members
• Schedule: 4x10 shifts, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), experience with Meditech electronic medical record system, IV starts, and pediatric experience preferred or nice to have.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience or familiarity with day surgery preoperative and postoperative care, pre-admission testing experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Self-scheduling, with the ability to shift staff as needed; must work during inclement weather; scheduled to work two Mondays and two Fridays per schedule period.
