RN - Hospice

Pride Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice to support one of our healthcare clients in Cottonwood, AZ . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hospice RN seeking a long-term contract, competitive pay, and the opportunity to provide compassionate after-hours care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
• Provide after-hours hospice nursing care, including symptom management, medication management, and PRN patient visits.
• Complete hospice admissions, recertifications, and follow-up visits while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the end-of-life and dying process.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.


Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Recent hospice nursing experience required.
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.


Important Details
Employment Type: 21-week contract
Location: Cottonwood, AZ
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: After-hours, on-call position with a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
Monday-Friday: On call from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM the following morning
Saturday & Sunday: On call 24 hours each day
Weekly Hours: 40-hour guarantee
Coverage Area: Approximately a 65-mile radius from the Cottonwood office, including Sedona, Rimrock, Camp Verde, Clarkdale, Cottonwood, and Cornville
Pay Range: $53.00-$57.00 per hour
Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, mileage is reimbursed between patient visits.
