About the Position

Our client is seeking a qualified CDL A Driver for a local, home-daily position in Columbus, Ohio. This night shift opportunity offers competitive hourly pay, no-touch freight, and consistent local routes.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $27-$29 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Start Date: June 22, 2026

Job Details

Route Type: Local
Home Time: Home daily
Freight: Bulk agriculture
Stops: Typically 10-12 stops within a 50-mile radius
Handling: No-touch freight with drop-and-hook operations
Equipment: Automatic transmission

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a CDL A commercial vehicle on local routes
Transport bulk agricultural freight to designated locations
Complete approximately 10-12 stops within a 50-mile radius
Perform drop-and-hook operations
Maintain compliance with applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
