You’ll also play a hands-on role in developing junior talent, shaping team performance, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex, deadline-driven client engagements. Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.How You Will Make an Impact Manage one or more key client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of all fund accounting and reporting deliverablesApply strong expertise in alternative investment fund accounting, with a focus on private equity limited partnershipsLead and develop junior staff, including setting goals, providing ongoing coaching, and contributing to performance reviewsReview fund governing documents (LPA, offering documents, side letters, IMAs) to ensure accurate application of fund termsOversee and review all transaction activity, including capital calls, distributions, accruals, and valuation adjustmentsPrepare and review workpaper files, capital account statements, investor allocations, and management fee calculationsBuild and maintain distribution waterfall models in accordance with fund termsReview financial statements, supporting schedules, and disclosures for accuracy and completenessSupport and coordinate the year-end audit process in partnership with clients, auditors, and internal teamsAssist with tax reporting support and other client deliverables as neededManage client expectations and coordinate timelines with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality deliveryContribute to broader team and firm initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellenceRequired Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field7+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on alternative investment funds – private equity experience/fund of funds2+ years of management/supervisory experienceTeam player mentality with the ability to work independentlyKnowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting, with an emphasis on investment partnershipsExperience supervising 1 or more professional staffProvide significant input into hiring and termination decisions as well as providing continuous performance feedback to staffHands-on management style with strong leadership skills and ability to develop junior staffDemonstrated project management skills with the ability to multi-taskExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skillsWhat Sets You ApartCPA designation a plusSungard Investran experience a plusJoin SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities.
