Job Overview Jobot Consulting, a leading strategic service provider with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to support critical security rollouts and transition to Azure Virtual Desktop for state-wide California users. Responsibilities Support critical security rollouts including YubiKeys, FIDO2, BitLocker, Windows Hello for Business (WHFB), and password scrambling. Assist in the migration from Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure to Azure Virtual Desktop for over 1,000 users across various departments. Implement and roll out Delinea Secret Server to secure login credentials. Manage Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD account creation, updates, and synchronization. Provide help desk support (incoming calls, hardware deployment, printer setup, troubleshooting). Document technical processes and solutions. Qualifications Mandatory Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years experience in a technical or functional consulting, research, or relevant industry role, including presenting to technical and non‑technical audiences. Bachelor’s degree (copy required) or four (4) additional years qualifying experience may substitute. Preferred Qualifications Additional years of experience beyond the minimum (up to four years). At least two (2) years auditing and analyzing IT equipment usage processes. At least two (2) years gathering and interpreting customer needs, satisfaction, and usage data. At least two (2) years conflict resolution experience; knowledge of diverse research practices and programming preferred. At least two (2) years Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD account creation, password resets, and maintenance. At least two (2) years of analytical and troubleshooting skills with quick resolution capabilities. At least two (2) years time‑management experience and meeting deadlines. At least two (2) years of writing technical documentation. At least two (2) years in a large enterprise IT setting.
