Pay Rate

Local: $1,100 - $1,200/Week
Traveler: $1,450 - $1,560/Week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesia services, prepare surgical rooms, maintain equipment, and assist with invasive procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Anesthesia Technology program.

• National ASATT certification as an Anesthesia Technologist.

• Current CPR/BLS certification before starting.

• 3 years of experience preferred.

• Knowledge of reprocessing methods and aseptic and sterile techniques.

• Experience setting up and assisting with sterile trays.

• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in locations where general anesthesia is provided.

• Perform room turnovers and prepare rooms for surgical and invasive procedures.

• Troubleshoot different makes and models of anesthesia machines.

• Assist with invasive procedures, including arterial lines, CVC placement, and thermodilution catheter placement.

• Apply infection-control practices related to anesthesia equipment and supplies.

• Order supplies as directed.

• Restock anesthesia rooms and carts.

• Maintain readiness of equipment and supplies for scheduled procedures.
