Content & Social Media Coordinator

Location: Los Angeles or Remote Reports to: Head of Marketing About UpMarket UpMarket helps accredited investors access private markets, including pre-IPO companies, hedge funds, private equity, real estate, crypto, and fixed income. The Role We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys making content — not just managing a calendar, but thinking about what to say and how to say it. You follow what's happening in markets and tech, you have a sense for what performs on social, and you can write clearly without a lot of hand-holding. You'll own our content calendar and social presence, working directly with the Head of Marketing. The content side of the business is early, which means you'll be building, not inheriting a finished system. What You'll Do Post consistently across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X, with content tied to what's happening in private markets and investing Write the weekly email newsletter, blog posts, and company spotlights. Investor-facing content goes through a compliance review before it goes live (turnaround is typically 3-5 business days, so planning ahead is part of the job) Create graphics and short-form visuals for social Write and publish SEO pages in our CMS (WordPress or Ghost) Track performance and adjust based on what's working What We're Looking For 1-3 years in a content or social media role where you owned a channel, not just contributed to one A LinkedIn, Instagram, or TikTok presence you're comfortable sharing Clean, direct writing — no filler, no corporate language Genuine interest in startups, investing, or private markets. You don't need a finance background but you need to care about the subject matter Reliable with deadlines and self-directed in day-to-day work Nice to Have Mandarin language skill is a plus, since we serve a multilingual investor base Experiences in fintech, financial services, or financial media Short-form video or Reels experience Familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress, or Ghost #J-18808-Ljbffr Nashville Public Radio
