Mobile Fleet Technician

Job Overview At Accelerated Fleet Services, we’re proud of how much we pay our team. Our average mechanics earn between $100k - $135k per year. You are paid for every hour you invoice on a job, not just the hours you clock in. This position consists of 12‑hour shifts and includes an on‑call rotation. You will also be assigned to designated customer sites each day, allowing you to maintain consistent hours while remaining available to respond to service calls as needed. What You Will Do Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers’ commercial tractors and trailers. Write detailed work orders—working mobile road calls and/or in‑yard jobs. Provide quality customer service. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components. Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers. Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required. Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires. Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Test all systems and equipment for performance issues. Ensure that trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road‑safety requirements. Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management.
