Camera and Parking sensor Test Engineer

Experience & Education Requirements:

2–5 years of experience in Cameras, Infotainment, and Parking Systems

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering

Mechanical Engineering may be considered with relevant experience in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering fields

Core Skills & Abilities

Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams

Ability to legally drive vehicles (valid U.S. driver’s license) on road and parking lots.

Technical Knowledge & Responsibilities

Understanding of bench simulation of ECU controllers

Knowledge of Honda engineering standards and best practices

Ability to create and compile results/requirements.

HiL/DiLS & Simulation Experience.

Experience with HiL/DiLS in automotive system emulation

Act as liaison to HiL group for Parking System ECU simulation

Collaborate with sensor engineering teams to develop specifications/requirements

Create test manuals, requirements, and result formats for simulation teams

Manage and escalate technical issues with urgency

Perform technical diagnosis of hardware and software systems

Work with technical leadership of Parking Systems to achieve and ensure results.

Vehicle Testing Experience

Data logging on CAN/Ethernet

Signal analysis (live and post-processing) and system diagnostics

Harness analysis

ADAS system experience

Infotainment system experience

HMI (customer-facing) experience

Ability/desire to obtain TRC C-License.
