We have an immediate need for a Property Manager/Customer Service professional at our Self Storage facility in New Hope, MN.

The shift will be Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm with occasional weekends potentially. The pay will be in the $20/hr. range and the pay is weekly.

Position overview:

• Rent units using appropriate telephone & in-person techniques

• Renting U-Haul trucks to customers, having trucks staged and ready for rent, etc.

• Maintain outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries

• Effectively communicate with management and fellow associates

• Maintain open dialogue with Corporate Administrator

• Maintain property appearance and cleanliness

• Management of the office includes but not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day, preparing daily bank deposits.

• Perform daily lock checks for safety & security

• Keep office clean, organized, and professional looking. Clean office and restroom daily.

• Prepare vacant units for rental

• Clean spaces as vacated, hallways and grounds as needed, as well as provide pallets in units as needed/requested.

• Delinquent accounts:

o Make collection calls

o Uncollected balances sent to approved Collections Agency via the Corporate Office

• Maintain retail inventory by keeping shelves fully stocked

• Maintain tenant files and current computer data by having signed leases, copy of ID, Ins. accepted/declined

• Complete end of day activity email providing daily/monthly/YTD numbers, tasks, etc.

Previous hospitality, customer service or storage unit related experience required.
