Veteran Program Coordinator

Action Health Staffing seeks a Veteran Program Coordinator to connect military veterans with healthcare and caregiving opportunities across North Carolina. In this role, you'll recruit and support veteran caregivers, match them with hospital, clinic, and home care assignments, and serve as a key liaison between veterans, clients, and our staffing team. You'll provide onboarding support, coordinate schedules, and promote a compassionate, professional culture. This position offers flexible hours, local travel, and the opportunity to expand veteran-focused initiatives within our collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a veteran-focused staffing program within Action Health Staffing
• Recruit, screen, and onboard veteran caregivers for hospital, clinic, and home care roles
• Match veteran candidates with appropriate client assignments based on skills and preferences
• Maintain schedules, ongoing shifts, and long-term placements for veteran staff
• Serve as primary liaison for veteran employees, offering support and problem resolution
• Collaborate with office team to ensure reliable coverage and high-quality client service
• Promote a culture of compassion, professionalism, and respect for clients and caregivers
• Track program outcomes and provide regular reports and recommendations for growth
