Registered Nurse Telemetry

$2080.80/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a telemetry unit to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves monitoring cardiac patients, interpreting telemetry data, and delivering high-quality nursing services. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans. Monitor telemetry strips and interpret EKGs to detect cardiac events. Administer and titrate IV medications including insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone. Perform procedures such as IV insertions, NGT placement, chest tube maintenance, and Foley insertions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document patient care accurately in Meditech system and communicate effectively with team. Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of Kansas or Missouri. Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips and EKGs. Experience with post-cardiac procedural care such as catheterizations and pacemaker placements.
