Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week contract. Guaranteed 32 hours per week with a rotating 3/12 schedule. Weekly pay range: $1,946 to $2,024 per week. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital, Medical-Surgical unit. Travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and manage IV therapy and wound care as ordered.
- Monitor patient status through vitals, labs, and continuous assessment; document accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and allied health staff; educate patients and families on condition, care plans, and discharge instructions.
- Uphold safety, infection control, and hospital policies; respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii registered nurse license (must be active prior to start date)
- Ability to work consecutive weekends as needed
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts (3/12’s rotating)
- Eligibility to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting in Hawaii
