Job Description: Advanced Practice Provider – Non‑Operative Spine Clinic (894888) Job Summary UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Non‑Operative Spine team is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary spine team. This position is clinic‑based and will involve providing high‑quality patient care across our Main Campus (Dallas) and Frisco locations. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shifts, no weekends or holidays. Job Duties Conduct and document comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis, including psychological status. Synthesize data and use evidence to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, including ordering and interpreting laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic studies. Demonstrate proficiency in technical/procedural skills, as appropriate to specialty and training. Provide management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients, families, and caregivers related to current care and preventive health measures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives through group processes, workshops, seminars, and staff meetings to improve clinical and system performance. Collaborate on research projects and protocols; routinely apply evidence‑based best practices to patient care. Perform other duties as assigned.
