While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:
Location:
- Los Angeles Unified School District Schools, 2026 to 2027 school year
- Needed Areas:
- Los Angeles, CA 90066
Schedule:
- Mon, Weds & Thurs, 3:00 PM TO 5:00 PM.
Hours:
- 9-12 hours per week, with the possibility of 12+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual or in-person hours.
Pay:
- $23 per hour standard
- $24 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
- $25 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
In this role, you will:
- Deliver targeted instruction in math to support middle school aged students
- Provide small-group tutoring using provided curriculum, evidence-based strategies, and educational technology.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles, academic needs, and developmental levels.
- Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.
This role is a great fit if you
- Can complete the fingerprinting process within forty eight hours of an offer
- In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
- You can provide three professional references
- You have a minimum of sixty units of college credits
- You have at least one year of student-related experience
- You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
- You are an effective communicator
- You have reliable transportation
- You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
- You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
