Pharmacist in Charge - Florissant, MO

An Interim Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is available in St Charles, MO, supporting an inpatient behavioral health setting. This contract position is needed immediately for approximately four weeks or until a permanent hire is made.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid meal break

Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations within the behavioral health hospital
• Manage medication repackaging processes using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems
• Load drugs into automated dispensing machines such as Omnicell
• Run restock reports and ensure timely medication availability
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
• Provide support and leadership to pharmacy staff during the interim period

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri pharmacist license required
• Experience with Omnicell automation highly preferred
• Familiarity with repackaging medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems is desirable
• Basic knowledge of automated machine loading and restock reporting
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead pharmacy operations effectively
