School Social Worker High School Coverage
Batavia, IL | Full-Time Contract | October 19, 2026 through Winter Break
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to provide high school coverage for a school district in Batavia, Illinois . This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs during the first half of the 2026-2027 school year.

Setting: High School
Assignment Dates: October 19, 2026 through Winter Break
Full-time school-based position
Immediate need for the 2026-2027 school year
Provide individual and group counseling services to high school students
Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments as needed
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and special education staff
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Develop intervention strategies to support student success
Assist students and families with accessing community resources
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
