As a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist Lead, you will:Provide leadership and guidance in resolving in-progress issues, discrepancies, or disputes related to technical interpretation of drawings and specifications; clarifying and, when required, expediting home office/responsible engineer(s) response to meet project needs in a timely mannerEnsure liaising with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representativesProvide on-site technical support in interpretation of engineering released documents, specifications, and drawings, including input to the change management process within your technical expertise.Engage in the permitting process and with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)Work with Design-Build contractors once their efforts move to the field.Effectively communicate with subcontractors leading to receipt and management of all key drawings and documents in a revision-controlled manner.Lead the construction document management process, providing oversight and guidance through a construction document control lead, ensure effective communication with subcontractors leading to receipt and management of all key drawings and documents in a revision-controlled manner.Act as technically competent lead in response to contractor or other party request for specification deviation in work or work product, working within the project approved spec deviation process.Work with Field Quality, contractor, and Home Office Engineering to resolve Nonconformities (NCRs)Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to your team toward meeting these objectives.Follow your purpose and develop your skills in a company that challenges you throughout your career. The experience gained in this position will be invaluable for your career growth in the construction and technology sectors.Here's what you'll need:Minimum 10 years of experience working in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 15-20 years' experience in construction management for heavy-industrial process facilities including life sciences and datacenters.
