Job DescriptionAI Engineer | Permanent | No Sponsorship Available | Remote\nABOUT OUR CLIENT\n\n The company is financially sound, yet their success is not just defined by their profits; it's about living their core values.\n Ton of opportunity for growth and providing a better place to live and work!\n The company boasts a team-oriented culture and provides its employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.\n Huge Employee Perks!\n\nBENEFITS & COMPENSATION\n\n Compensation: Up to $195,000 per year + 8% annual bonus\n PTO: Unlimited\n Retirement: 401K w/ a match\n Medical: Health, vision, and dental plans available for individuals and families\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE AI ENGINEER\n\n Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can drive efficiency, growth, and competitive advantage\n Design and deploy sophisticated LLM-based agent systems, reasoning workflows, and tool-integrated pipelines (RAG, chain-of-thought, planning-execution patterns)\n Architect and maintain production-grade APIs supporting real-time and asynchronous agent operations, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration\n Develop robust prompt strategies, vector database implementations, and knowledge graph architectures ensuring reliable model behavior\n Build comprehensive testing frameworks, observability tooling, and diagnostic systems for agent execution and performance monitoring\n Manage the complete AI model lifecycle—integration, deployment, fine-tuning, and production monitoring with logging and recovery mechanisms\n Establish AI governance standards addressing compliance, security, responsible AI, and ethical considerations\n Champion AI adoption across the organization; define success metrics, track progress, and drive organizational alignment\n Collaborate with frontend teams to build intuitive user interfaces and seamless AI system integration using React and TypeScript\n\nQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE AI ENGINEER\n\n 10+ years of software development and systems architecture experience\n 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-driven solutions with production AI tools\n 3+ years of specialized expertise with Large Language Models, Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning fundamentals\n Practical experience with deep learning frameworks, RAG architectures, vector databases, and agent-based frameworks\n Working knowledge of cloud-native AI services and deployment patterns\n\nTiming is everything.
