Senior Manager, Media Operations

Job Location: Corporate Indianapolis PRIMARY PURPOSE The Senior Manager, Media Operations is an exciting opportunity to successfully manage an expanding digital media operations platform, systems and projects, while maintaining a highly successful traditional static media program. The scope of responsibility covers over 215 locations, 75 DMAs, 3600+ digital screens and 9000+ static displays. The successful candidate will be a “hands‑on” team member with the ability to drive operational excellence, build upon innovative opportunities and drive revenue‑based results. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Capital Project Management – Lead all aspects of capital digital projects from start to completion. Includes RFP solicitation, price comparisons, specification collection and analysis, facilitation of contracts with legal and financial teams, budgeting, field facilitation of surveys, development of project plans, installation management, punch list and closeout documents, and maintenance plan development. Digital Asset Management – Identify and document assets, purchase information, primary asset identification, warranties, repair history, annual revenues, and other primary documents. Implement and maintain a repository of “Source of Truth” documents supporting warranties, installations, digital inventory lists, and asset management documents. Digital Vendor Management – Own relationships with Simon vendors; set deadlines for deliverables, match vendor requirements to business needs, integrate new vendors into Simon systems, manage daily expenses and project budgets, reconcile and administer weekly report summaries, and identify potential new vendors to enhance the network. SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES Digital Media Scheduling – Quantify weekly scheduling requirements, assist in determining secondary scheduling requirements, and provide backup scheduling as needed. Static Media Systems & Scheduling – Understand the static media workflow with incoming deal sheets, provide backup facilitation of deal sheets. Technical Support – Learn key media systems to assist when needed. Broadsign NinjaOne, Programmatic Exchanges, and Salesforce – Acquire asset registrations, CPM updates, upload asset ID information changes, facilitate repair & maintenance on assets. SIMON MEDIA OPERATIONS SKILL SETS Develop strategic plans for operational excellence and continual improvements. Develop and analyze complex business models in Excel using multiple data sources to maximize profitability. Set strategy and field direction for media objectives; partner with location management and marketing teams to optimize performance. Lead cross‑functional collaboration to solve multi‑departmental objectives. Achieve and/or exceed budgeted financial plans; prioritize and adjust based on new data. Outstanding organizational, planning, and multi‑tasking abilities; prioritize and adjust conflicting deadlines. Strong quantitative analytical skills, metrics‑oriented; superior computer skills and effective communication. Self‑motivated and independent; handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field. 5-7 years relevant experience, preferably in administration, project management, marketing, and/or financial analysis. Advanced Excel skills; ability to build business models. Results‑oriented, proactive, and excellent communication and coordination skills across a wide organization. Strong quantitative analytical skills and metrics orientation. Superior computer skills and ability to communicate verbally, visually, and in writing. Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Periodic overnight travel may be required for meetings and/or events.
