About the RoleAs a CT Technologist , you'll perform both CT and X-ray imaging procedures, working closely with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role offers a great opportunity for both experienced technologists and recent graduates with strong clinical training.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT scans and X-ray procedures according to physician orders
- Verify patient identity and complete required safety screenings
- Start IVs and administer contrast when appropriate
- Position and prepare patients for imaging procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards
- Educate patients on procedures and provide compassionate care
- Review imaging orders and clarify discrepancies with providers
- Monitor patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Evaluate Creatinine/GFR results prior to contrast administration
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and departmental protocols
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Certification
- Current South Carolina Radiology License
- New graduates with strong clinical experience are encouraged to apply
- 1+ years of CT and/or Radiologic Technologist experience
Pay Range: $29.00 - $52.00 per hour
