About the Role:
Amazing Athletes North Bay California is looking for an energetic and passionate Preschool Sports Program Coach to inspire the next generation of young athletes in Novato, CA! In this rewarding role, you'll introduce children to the joy of movement and sports in a fun, supportive environment. If you love working with kids and have a knack for making learning exciting, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate sports and movement classes for preschool-aged children
• Introduce foundational athletic skills including coordination, balance, and motor development
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants
• Implement structured curriculum across multiple sports such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball
• Set up and break down equipment at program locations and partner facilities
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children (ages 2–6) in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and teachers
• Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for youth development
• Reliable transportation to travel to various program locations in the East Bay area
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Background in sports, physical education, child development, or a related field is a plus
