Dietitian I - Nutrition Services

Position Dietitian Location Bellingham, WA Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of nutrition care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed. Use the Nutrition Care Process, including assessment, identification of nutritional diagnoses, implementation of appropriate interventions, formulation of patient‑specific goals, and monitoring, evaluation, and follow‑up of outcomes. Provide evidence‑based nutrition education to patients and families in outpatient and/or inpatient settings. Consult with other healthcare providers and participate in the interdisciplinary team. Document in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Make referrals to other services, agencies, and community resources when appropriate. Evaluate laboratory tests to prepare nutrition recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and must be a Registered Dietitian before January 1, 2024; OR Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and must pass the Registered Dietitian examination within 90 days of hire; AND Certified as a Dietitian in the State of Washington or eligibility for certification. Employment will be contingent upon passing a background check and drug test. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States. Benefits Salary from $33.13 to $49.69 per hour.
