Traveling CDL Driver

Position Overview We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in safely and efficiently transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites. This position requires travel, including out-of-state work in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Kentucky, with the potential for assignments in additional states as needed. Candidates must be willing and able to travel. Responsibilities Safely operate and maneuver various commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, end-dumps, flatbeds, and equipment trailers. Transport construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation. Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic laws. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, and any issues encountered during transportation. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and promptly report any mechanical issues or damages. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Class A). Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations. Minimum 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in the construction industry. Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and instructions. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
