Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist - ZLA

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, ZLA, you will lead the implementation and effectiveness of Operational Data Management tools and Focused Improvement impact across our manufacturing network. You will ensure alignment on enterprise-level goals byidentifyinglossopportunities,promotingcross-sitecollaboration,andsupportingtheimplementationofimprovementstrategies.Youwillserveasaresourceformultiplefacilities,helpbuildsite-levelcapabilities,andcontributetosystem-wideoptimizationefforts.ATasteofYourResponsibilitiesPartnerwithmanufacturingsitesacrossthenetworktoidentifysystemiclossopportunitiesandexecutetargetedFocusedImprovementprojectsalignedwithcorporateobjectives.Collaboratewithplantteamstostandardizeprocessesandsharebestpracticesacrossthemanufacturingnetwork.Analyzemulti-siteoperationaldatatoidentifytrends,chroniclosses,andimprovementopportunities.LeadOperationalDataManagementtools,ensuringdataisaccurate,reliable,andactionable.Leadcross-sitetechnicalprojectsfocusedonlineperformance,throughputvariability,laboroptimization,andoperationalefficiency.ApplyDefine,Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control,statisticalprocesscontrol,anddesignofexperimentsmethodologiestodrivedata-informedimprovements.SupportthedeploymentandsustainabilityofFocusedImprovementtools,includingUnifiedProblemSolving,Lean,andSixSigmamethodologies.Alignkeyperformanceindicatorsacrossfacilitiestosupportenterprise-wideconsistencyandperformancegoals.Providecoachingandhands-onsupporttositeteamsusingValueStreamMapping,LossTreedevelopment,rootcauseanalysis,andotherimprovementtools.PartnerwithAutonomousMaintenance,PlannedMaintenance,andotherManufacturingExcellencepillarstocoordinatestrategiesandeliminateduplicationofeffort.Facilitatecollaborationacrosssitestodrivesystemicimprovementsandknowledgetransferthroughoutthenetwork.Developandmaintainenterprisestandardsforprocessoptimization,routing,andtimestudies.Supportthecreationofcontinuousimprovementplaybooks,toolkits,andstandardwork.Collaboratewithseniorleadershiptoevaluatenetwork-widecapitalinvestmentopportunitiesandprovidedata-drivenbusinessjustifications.IngredientsRequiredforYourSuccessBachelor'sdegreeinEngineering,Manufacturing,orarelatedfield.5+yearsofexperienceinmanufacturing,continuousimprovement,industrialengineering,orrelatedoperationalexcellenceroles.Experiencesupportingmultiplemanufacturinglocationsorworkingwithinacorporatemanufacturingenvironment.Hands-onexperiencewithLean,SixSigma,UnifiedProblemSolving,andcontinuousimprovementmethodologies.ProficiencywithPowerBI,Databricks,andadvancedMicrosoftExcelforanalysisandvisualization.Experienceleadingcross-functionalteamsandinfluencingstakeholdersacrossamanufacturingnetwork.KnowledgeofDefine,Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control,ValueStreamMapping,statisticalprocesscontrol,androotcauseanalysismethodologies.Projectmanagementexperiencewithinamatrixedorganization.Willingnesstotravel70%ormoretomanufacturingfacilitiesacrossthenetwork.Strongcommunication,facilitation,andchangeleadershipskills.PhysicalRequirementsMoreinformationaboutessentialtasksandthefacilitywillbesharedduringthehiringprocess.Thisrolemayrequireyoutobeinourmanufacturingfacilities.Whenvisitingthesesites,thephysicalrequirementsbelowmayapply:Youmayberequiredtowalkaroundthefacility,climbstairs/ladders,kneel,orperformrepetitivetasksthatrequirehand-eyecoordination.Youmayberequiredtoliftorcarrymaterialsthatcanvaryinweightandsize.Thisisamanufacturingenvironmentwithlarge,movingequipment.Noiselevelscanbehigh,andtemperaturesmayvary.#LI-Remote#LI-MH1#LI-MSLCompensation Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
