Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Active Texas SLP or SLPA license is required; SLPA license must already be in hand.
• Previous school-based experience in a similar SLP or SLPA role.
• Willingness to be on-site; virtual or remote work is not available.
• SLP-CF candidates are not eligible for this position.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned locations as needed.
• Available to complete HISD fingerprinting within the first three days of signing a contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and evaluations to a diverse school population as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to implement effective intervention plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and comply with district requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings, planning, and data review as necessary.
• Adapt communication and therapy strategies to meet students’ varied needs and backgrounds.
