Opportunity:

RN - Skilled Nursing

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts with block scheduling
• Every other weekend requirement unless specified
• Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other units required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Elderly care experience required
• Maintain 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform charting, assessments, charge duties, and medication administration
• Clinical skills include IV insertion, catheter care, and ostomy management
• Work with IV therapy and titratable drips
• Care for patients with dementia, frail elderly, and rehabilitation needs
• Use ECS electronic medical record system
• Any solid color scrubs required - must be clean and professional
• Must clock in and out at facility
• Orientation varies based on clinical skills
• Work alongside interdisciplinary team including therapy, administration, social workers, activities, dietary, and housekeeping

This skilled nursing facility is a 70-bed nursing home attached to a hospital, featuring primarily private rooms for residents. The facility provides long-term care services with comprehensive support including on-site respiratory therapy 24/7, pharmacy services with medication dispensing systems, and physician availability after hours. The organization maintains high standards of care with a full interdisciplinary team approach and modern electronic medical record systems to ensure quality patient outcomes.
