Volunteer Board Member

The mission of the Peninsula Library Friends Foundation (PLFF) is to support the Palos Verdes Library District through fundraising, communication and community engagement. We are looking for Board member candidates who are interested in contributing their time and expertise to PLFF’s mission.

Board members are expected to ensure the organization has adequate financial and volunteer resources to fulfill its mission, safeguard and grow PLFF’s assets by developing and participating in fundraising and engagement strategies, and adhere to the highest level of ethical conduct. Board members attend 10 Board meeting per year and actively participate in at least one Board committee. We are particularly looking for members who have a background in finance, accounting or marketing.
