Job Description:

• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate staff.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out, ensuring all required forms are completed and demographic, insurance, and contact information is accurate and up to date.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to visits, including confirming eligibility and documenting verification details in the electronic health record.

Qualifications:

• 2+ Year of experience working with Front Desk / Surgery Scheduling / Insurance Verification is mandatory
• Medical Assistant Certificate Preferred

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract position based out of San Marcos, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
