Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Tuesday–Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Ensure all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, designing functional treatment programs to support effective return to community activities
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Texas
• Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements
• Ability to perform in an ethical manner in accordance with discipline-specific professional codes of conduct
• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred; new graduates are not being considered for this role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
• Familiarity with functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and payer compliance documentation
• Experience mentoring or supervising physical therapy students
