Opportunity Details:
Position Title: Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatrist
\nLocation: Tucson, AZ
\n \nPalo Verde Behavioral Health has a longstanding reputation for stability in mental health and substance-use treatment, serving patients in and around Tucson since 1960. We offer individualized, inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents.

Position Details:
\n\n
- \n
- Patient population: Inpatient adolescent care for patients ages 12 17. \n
- Care Setting: Mostly inpatient work with additional adolescent PHP/IOP available (optional). \n
- Manageable Caseload: Average of 15 total patient encounters per day. \n
- Position Type: Full-time Employed W-2 with benefits or 1099 Independent Contractor available. \n
- Schedule: Monday Friday, days only. \n
- Call: No weekday call required. \n
- Weekends: Average 1:5 weekend rounding split amongst the team. \n

- Competitive base salary range: $330,000-$350,000. \n
- Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance available . \n
- Bonus: Additional earnings through potential via Productivity Bonus and additional weekend coverage and evening call. \n

- Paid-Time Off: 26 days per year \n
- CME Package: 5 paid CME days per year + reimbursement for related expenses. \n

Requirements:

- MD/DO degree from an accredited program required. \n
- Board certified or board eligible child & adolescent psychiatry required. \n
- Arizona medical license or the ability to obtain an Arizona medical license. \n
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians \n
