Position: Full-Time Accountant

Location: Honolulu

Industry: Private Club

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $28-$30/hour (DOE)

Candidates must be Hawai'i located to be considered due to the quick selection process for this position.

Position Summary:

The Accountant is an experienced professional responsible for day-to-day accounting operations with a strong emphasis on month-end close. This role requires solid accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage the monthly close process accurately and on time.


Job Duties:

• Complete month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting


• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure timely transaction recording


• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies


• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed


• Assist with financial statements, internal reports, and documentation


• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls


• Support audits and respond to accounting inquiries


Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close


• Solid understanding of general ledger and financial reporting


• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines


• High level of accuracy and organization


• Experience with accounting software and Excel preferred
