Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The TRAVEL RN- CATH LAB (746) provides skilled nursing care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab/EP environment. The role supports diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart services and electrophysiology workflows, with a focus on patient safety and effective teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for heart catheterization and related procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care.
• Assist with catheterization and structural heart interventions from setup through recovery.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond promptly to patient changes during lab activities.
• Support EP studies, ablations, and device implant workflows, including appropriate peri-procedural nursing care.
• Manage patient flow across holding and pre/post areas while maintaining unit standards.
• Coordinate care needs with the cath lab and clinical team to ensure smooth procedure turnover.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license and maintain eligibility to work in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrate previous Cath Lab experience and competency with procedural nursing responsibilities.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a dynamic, busy cath lab setting.
• Show willingness to take call as required by unit needs.
• Experience with Structural Heart and/or EP preferred.
• Possess a flexible, easygoing personality suited for fast-paced teamwork.
