Plant Manager

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a high-performing Plant Manager to lead all aspects of operations at a large-scale industrial facility. This is a critical leadership role requiring full ownership of plant performance, team development, and strategic execution. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day plant operations including production, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and team performance. Own and manage the full P drive financial accountability across departments. Ensure the site meets or exceeds performance targets aligned with corporate KPIs. Direct capital and operating budgets, with oversight of a significant annual maintenance spend. Champion continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other proven systems. Build a culture of excellence through hiring, coaching, and team development. Oversee proactive equipment care and reliability planning. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners. Serve as the site’s public-facing leader in community engagement efforts. Qualifications & Experience: 5–10 years of senior-level plant or facility operations leadership. Strong background in industrial sectors such as mining, aggregates, materials, or chemicals. Experience managing capital projects and overseeing large maintenance budgets. Proven ownership of P&L for a full-site operation. Skills & Competencies: Expert-level understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools. Six Sigma familiarity or certification is a plus. High mechanical aptitude; familiarity with large-scale processing equipment. Excellent leadership presence — confident, communicative, and accountable. Proficiency with budgeting, KPIs, and ERP platforms. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related technical field strongly preferred.
