Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP specializes in providing high-quality nursing care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The role involves supporting patient safety, assisting healthcare teams, and ensuring efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and EP interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status throughout procedures and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and technical staff to prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, post-care instructions, and medication management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• possess recent experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP lab.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EKG monitoring, hemodynamic assessments, and cardiac procedures.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-intensity, team-based environment.
