About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: New York license required in hand to submit Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - NY license in hand - EPIC charting experience Description: MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTION. Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry RN. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med-Surg. First-time travelers accepted. Candidates must be within a 75-mile radius. Floating is required. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias. Experience with rapid response/code teams. Peripheral line care and management. Knowledge of nasal cannula and oxygen administration. Experience with non-invasive airway management. Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE. Daily census and patient diagnoses may vary. Total staffed beds: 528. Scrub color is any combination of navy and white.
