Pastry Cook
The Sicilian Butcher is seeking a talented and detail driven Pastry cook to join our team. In this role you will be crafting irresistible pastries that leave a lasting impression. You will bring our dessert menu to life by preparing our scratch made pastries and sweets with consistency, creativity and care. You will work along side a collaborative and supportive team where quality and hospitality come first.

- Proven experience as a baker or cook

As a Pastry Cook at The Sicilian Butcher, you will create and bake exceptional pastries and desserts that consistently delight our guests. Your day will involve preparing a variety of scratch-made sweets, with careful attention to flavor, texture, and presentation. Every item you craft will be thoughtfully executed to ensure it looks as good as it tastes, helping deliver a memorable experience for every guest.

- Set up your workstation with the ingredients, tools, and equipment needed for success.
- Carefully prepare ingredients like batter, dough, and toppings
- Use baking tools and equipment to create and assemble baked goods.
- Ensure stunning presentation for all pastries and desserts.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Properly store ingredients and finished goods to maintain freshness.
- Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to the team.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
