The Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is looking for a talented and hard‑working Occupational Therapist to join our ever‑growing team. Full‑time and PRN positions are available. Responsibilities The Occupational Therapist is responsible for: Assessing referred patients that require rehabilitation services, including providing direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation. Establishing and administering a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. Setting realistic and achievable goals for patients, documenting and recording the patient’s condition, and educating patients and families in an appropriate therapy method. Overseeing and supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants. Performing any other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation. Qualifications / Requirements Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university. Valid professional license and registration for state of practice. Experience with long‑term care and/or geriatric care preferred. Well‑versed with documentation writing (evaluations, weekly progress notes, re‑certification and discharge documentation). Ability to collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient‑centered treatment and care. Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence. Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times. Compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA and Federal Resident Rights.
