Location: Zanesville, Ohio


Pay Rate: $56/hr


Contract: 13 weeks


Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; every other weekend required


Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week


Experience: Minimum 3 years required


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in Zanesville, Ohio. This role primarily supports the Respiratory unit, where COVID patients may be admitted, and may require floating to other Med Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med Surg boarders.


Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care for respiratory and Med Surg adult patients
• Monitor patient conditions, read telemetry, and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
• Float to other Med Surg units as needed based on facility needs
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and collaborate with the care team


Requirements
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse License Required
• Minimum 3 years of current or recent Telemetry, Stepdown, or Med Surg experience required
• BLS/BCLS Certification Required
• Current EPIC proficiency required; refresher classes are not available
• Must be able to read telemetry and pass day-one telemetry competency
