Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting preferred
• Ability to adapt therapeutic exercises to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, faculty, and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive, encouraging environment for every learner
• Flexibility and reliability to cover as needed (PRN) and manage a part-time schedule

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that promote greater mobility, strength, and overall function for students with varying needs
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy into daily routines
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt plans as necessary
• Educate families and staff on safe techniques and strategies to reinforce progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach for student success
