This is a hybrid opportunity with meaningful client interaction and local travel.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager with 10+ years of public accounting assurance experience to lead a high-volume engagement portfolio, oversee audit teams, maintain key client relationships, and drive business development. The ideal candidate has strong Yellow Book/GAGAS experience and a proven history of growing business in a referral-driven environment.QualificationsActive Florida CPA license or actively working toward licensure.10+ years of public accounting assurance experience.Proven ability to manage a high engagement volume, not solely a few large audits.Demonstrated success in business development, referrals, networking, and client growth.Strong audit, internal control, risk assessment, and compliance expertise.Excellent client communication and leadership skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, direct, and review multiple concurrent audit and assurance engagements.Oversee risk assessments, audit objectives, testing, internal controls, workpapers, and final reports.Ensure compliance with GAGAS/Yellow Book and applicable regulatory requirements.Evaluate controls related to fraud, waste, and abuse.Oversee specialized compliance engagements, including Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP) audits when applicable.Manage engagement budgets, staffing, deadlines, and profitability.Serve as a key client contact and resolve complex issues.Develop new business through referrals, networking, proposals, and client relationships.Mentor and develop audit professionals while maintaining high-quality standards.Leverage data analytics, automation, and technology to improve audit efficiency.Benefits$190K–$210K salaryEmployer pays 50% of health insuranceUnitedHealthcare plan options$50,000 guaranteed-issue term life insuranceAflac supplemental plans401(k) with Safe Harbor employer match; immediately vested15–20 days of vacation based on tenureUp to 5 unused vacation days may carry over5 days of sick leave annuallyThis is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned assurance leader who can manage a substantial client portfolio while contributing directly to client retention and practice growth.If you are interested in connecting further about any level of opportunity within public accounting, please apply here or email me directly at View email address on click.appcast.io or by phone/text at View phone number on click.appcast.io.
