Dispensary Store Manager

Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 base salary + up to 10% annual bonus Benefits: Full medical, dental, vision, and additional company-sponsored benefits Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Store Manager to lead our Gainesville retail location. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who excels in fast‑paced retail environments, is passionate about developing talent, and is committed to delivering an exceptional medical cannabis experience for Florida patients. The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, financial performance, compliance, and team development for a team of approximately 7 employees. This leader will ensure brand standards are upheld while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of cannabis retail associates. Drive store performance through operational efficiency, compliance, sales execution, and outstanding customer service. Oversee daily operations including cash handling, inventory accuracy, merchandising, and loss prevention. Ensure full compliance with Florida cannabis regulations, including patient allotment requirements. Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and ongoing performance development for store staff. Execute company initiatives and communicate store needs, challenges, and opportunities to retail leadership. Foster a positive, inclusive culture rooted in servant leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant store environment aligned with brand standards. Track and report on KPIs, staffing needs, operational challenges, and overall store performance. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 4–6 years of leadership experience in cannabis, retail, or hospitality environments. Team leadership, coaching, and employee development Inventory management, merchandising, and logistics Cash handling and operational oversight Strong servant leadership mindset with the ability to motivate and develop small teams. Knowledge of Florida medical cannabis regulations and patient allotment compliance (or ability to learn quickly). Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
