Occupational Therapist (OT)

Adventist HealthCare Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) in our Southern, MD Territories! Qualified candidates will be eligible for up to a $12,000 sign-on bonus. (*Current AHC employees not eligible see below under additional details.)

We're seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will:

• Communicate with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions and treatments according to agency's accepted policies and procedures.
• Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals.
• Complete documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
• Assume responsibility for personal and professional development.
• Administers and supervises occupational therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist.
• Coordinate care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from accredited occupational therapy program.
• 2-3 years' experience required
• 1 year home care experience preferred
• Maryland Occupational Therapy Licensure
• Valid driver's license with agency insurance requirements
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM5:00 PM Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Days
• Weekend Requirements: Once per month
• Holiday Requirements: Rotating within the team

*Current AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus who are transferring from one entity to another and/or transferring within their entity. Employees that have terminated their employment with AHC are not eligible for a sign-on bonus prior to six months of returning if hired for a position offering a sign-on bonus.

Pay Range: $34.58 - $51.87

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
