Assistant Golf Professional

Overview Terravita Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Professional to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while continuing to grow knowledge of golf club operations. Experience Required Experience working in the golf shop at a private or semi-private club. Extensive experience in customer service with great people skills. Well organized, with an understanding of point-of-sale systems and tee sheet software. Extensive experience with Golf Genius Software (Tournament and Golf Shop). Working knowledge of Tagmarshal. Well versed in Golf Rules and USGA GHIN. Extensive experience with JONAS POS system. Essential Responsibilities Processes customer reservations for guests of the golf course. Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process. Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed. Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes them in the POS system as trained. Issues receipts for guest purchases. Takes messages for staff or guests. Assists in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies. Assists in the reconciliation of accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the closing of the day. Manages and operates an Association Play Day. Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
