Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director

Drax is seeking a Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director to lead performance improvement across our energy manufacturing and production operations. In this role, you will design and execute strategies to optimize end-to-end plant and value chain performance, enhancing reliability, cost efficiency, and sustainability in line with Drax’s zero-carbon mission. Partnering with engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams, you will use data-driven insights to streamline processes, reduce waste, and maximize asset utilization. You will oversee complex optimization projects, prioritize investments, and embed a culture of safety and continuous improvement in an inclusive, empowering environment focused on transforming how energy is generated, supplied, and used.
